I read this book about networking not because I enjoy networking but because I need some direction when it comes to the practice of networking. It wasn’t a surprise that I found some suggestions that would make me uncomfortable but I was glad to read others that calmed my fears: be yourself, throw parties, introduce people, and (in not so many words) trust karma.
Make an introduction, the rest should happen natually.
